Roughly 10 years ago I decided to specialize in helping builders through out Texas with their loans that their internal mortgage companies could not get approved. In the last couple of years we have expanded in to other states as well. Since the late 90s, the majority of our business has been manually underwritten FHA/VA loans. I have closed nearly 10,000 of these tough loans over the years. We have been closing these kind of loans through out the B-paper craze and now buyers with credit blemishes find our loans to be their only choice. We are a bank that closes 2 billion a year in mortgages and specializes in FHA/VA mortgages. I have my own underwriting and closing department under my roof so we have total control of the process from start to finish. I enjoy what I do very much and it feels good to help buyers become home owners when traditional brokers do not know how to get the loan approved.
